This tune was written right after the passing of my friend Beth. She and I were in love in many ways over 40 years ago. Our lives were separate for those forty years, but we were not. This song tells her story from afar and from my imagination not my experience. I try to capture the joy I know she shared, the difference I know she made, and the struggle that she and all around her must have endured.
